October 4, 2014- Moving for the 3rd and LAST TIME :)
A week ago, Jesse and I didn't know that we were gonna be moving or living in downtown Melbourne. It actually happened right after the tulip festival. If you read our last entry, we went all the way to Lilydale last weekend /read about it here/ to go see the tulips (because we're from Calgary, and we never see tulips. LOL). It took 3 hours one way. Though we've been walking & commuting pretty long hours ever since we got to Australia, that day (and week, actually) concluded how exhausted we've been feeling these past few weeks.
On Saturday night, I started looking over a few places online. By Sunday evening, I had set up "inspections" for two apartments. The next day, we looked at one of the apartments, loved it, and called 2 hours later to say that we'll take it. Hooray!
Why moving was a great idea:
1. I had knee, foot, leg & hip pain both from work AND commuting (ouch >_<)
2. Jesse got a new foot blister every 3 days. hahaha
3. There was always a train line disruption (at least every other day)
4. We couldn't stay out late cause we'd be worrying about the commute home.
5. We wanted to fully enjoy our last few months here in Melbourne.

Now we can say that we've lived far east, far west, and right in the middle of town! It's absolutely crazy how many times we've moved in less than 5 months. None of it was planned- it just kinda happened and we just went with it.
Places where we've lived:
1.) Mount Waverley, May 6 - 21
2.) Hoppers Crossing, May 22 - June 11
3.) Werribee, June 12 - Oct 3
4.) Downtown, Oct 4 til December
We've been so lucky to live with kind-hearted people wherever we went. We never had drama with any room mates or house owners :P
Bye bye, suburban life!
We had to go back and forth twice to haul
everything from one place to another.
Hello, Metro!
My luggage is almost as big as I am!
