A Basic Weekend.

by - 5:09 AM

It's 9:36 p.m on a Sunday... i've been progressively getting sick since last week but have paddled on because I can't afford to miss work. If only I could get a substitute to train the new girl i'm working with tomorrow. hehe! Four more weeks of work!

Friday: Felt so tired after work, I thought I was gonna fall asleep while waiting for my food. Jesse and I ate at this place called "iSpicy" which was located at north richmond. It was recommended by his friend Adinda, who also loves Thai food :) No food photos here, but lemme tell ya, I thoroughly enjoyed their chicken fried rice and Tom Kha Gai. Will be back to try their tom yum soup!

North richmond: taken on our walk back to the tram stop

Saturday: Cold and flu have officially taken over my nervous system. Nothing much was accomplished this day except for watching:

The Amazing Spiderman 2
Uhmmm.. can someone undo Gwen Stacy's death please?!!

Bring It On
"We're sexy. We're cute. We're popular to boot!"
Yep, still remembered the spirit fingers.

Casper
Not gonna lie, I wanted to shed a tear when casper came alive and
danced with her in the flesh. lol

Addams family reunion
Can't believe I missed this!! I've seen only the ones with Christina Ricci in it.
This was a good one.

Spirited away
J: One of my favourites from the great Hayao Miyazaki. I convinced Chelsea that this is a MUST for our movie marathon, so whimsical and artistic!
C: He even visited Studio Ghibli in Japan to see how this was created. lol

Sunday: Walked around QV market and got myself a new carry-on. I really needed this one cause the black one I owned was falling apart. I'm really looking forward to travelling oz with my new pink luggage. hahaha! jk. Jesse and I haven't been on a real vacation since november 2013 (florida). Moving to Australia might sound like a vacation, but it hasn't been. It's just been full of hard work so far. That being said, I can't wait to swim in turquoise waters and sail off to the Great barrier reef when I do claim my hard-earned vacation money ;)

I love everything pink! hahaha

Food for thought: You don't have to have it figured out to move forward.
Like everything, it's just a matter of going with the flow and choosing which opportunities to invest in.

Fancy Hank's BBQ: I never cared for barbecue until I tried this joint. Best chili con carne i've ever had (sorry, tim hortons). Also, I am biased because "The Doughboys" are here every weekend til 3 p.m. Ain't nothing like ending your weekend with a good donut.
