July 6, 2014- Day Out in Geelong
These photos were actually taken in June (our second month living in Oz!). Jesse and I were still jobless and very stressed at this point. We decided to take it easy and leave our problems at home for the day. We took the V-line to Geelong and I had to sit on the floor to do my makeup cause the train was packed! I believe it might have been the first monday of June, a holiday in celebration of the Queen's birthday. I think it's odd why Australia celebrates the queen's birthday and Canada doesn't (even though we're also part of the Commonwealth).
When you walk around the Geelong dock, you will find these tall, painted wooden figures. They can be cute or creepy, depending on what time of the day it is.
Jesse was really fascinated with these things!
I love being close to the ocean! It's always so nice and peaceful.
Lookin' like a bunch of shark fins.
A few days after this trip to Geelong, Jesse got hired :) Sometimes, you just gotta stop stressing and let things come to you!
